  • When is the Kids Heart Challenge event?

Wednesday, February 13th -Wednesday, February 27th

  • Where  and what time are the Kids Heart Challenge activities/event?

At school during P.E. class

 

  • Do I need to fill out the youth consent, release, and identification form (permission slip)?

No, some of the coordinators do the Kids Heart Challenge as an after-school event for the entire school, therefore a release needs to be signed. We do it as a part of PE class to keep it more personalized.

 

  • Who do I return the coupon to when my child raises $5 online?

Do not worry about turning in the coupon.  Just turn in your donation to Coach Griffin in the morning either in Teacher’s Lounge or P.E. Hallway from 7:45 – 8:25 a.m.

 

  • What characters can I earn during the event?

Refer to the sheet sent home to see this year's characters;).

  • If I do not set up a fundraising page or raise any money, can my child still participate on their challenge day in PE?

Absolutely! We encourage children to raise funds for the American Heart Association to help kids with sick hearts but it is NOT mandatory.

 

  • When will I receive my Thank You gifts?

About a week after the event is over, Coach Griffin will place the order for the school. It takes 4-6 weeks for Kids Heart Challenge thank you gifts to come in.
